Abwenzi (Friends) -- Pen pal song These video images are some of our pen pals who came to see the lake ecosystem video we made for them. They spent the weekend at Lake Malawi National Park where they watched our video in October 1993. None of the students or teachers had ever been to a park before and several had never seen television or videos.

Our video remains at Lake Malawi National Park where it is used as part of the environmental education program there.

In appreciation of our efforts, the Malawian pen pals made up a song and dance about our relationship.
