My pen pal has helped me learn many things. Besides learning how to write letters, I've had a chance to learn about African geography, history, languages, and environmental issues. It helps me to reflect on the differences in our cultures. But I've also learned how much we share as human beings.
There's a lot we can learn from our pen pals.
I'm glad I have a friend in Africa.
